Manchester Marvels Performance Athletes Program
Manchester Marvels Volleyball aims to provide a professional environment and training program for student athletes at Manchester Universities, in order to improve the standard of university volleyball and attract top professional and international athletes to Manchester.
Sport Scholarships
The University of Manchester offer over 400 exciting academic degree programmes and understands that there are student athletes who aspire to represent their country in a sport but also want to study a degree that is not focussed on sport.

The University has four scholarship/award packages available.

The aims of the Scholarship/Awards are to:

To nurture already identified and verified sporting talent, in achieving a successful dual career, maximising their potential in academia alongside their chosen sport

Raise the profile and reputation of sport at The University of Manchester

Attract talented students to the University and optimise the University's performance in the British Universities and Colleges Sports (BUCS) League
The varying levels are:

SPORT Scholarship (value £2,500 per athlete): 15 annual scholarships awarded to student athletes on a UK Sport or Sport England Talent pathway

Overseas Scholarship (value £2,000): 1 annual scholarship awarded to an individual (European Union or International student) competing at a Junior National level on a recognised pathway for their Country and Sport

Focus Sport Scholarship (value £3,250 per athlete): 3 annual scholarships awarded to an individual (UK/European Union or International Postgraduate or Undergraduate student) on a talent pathway in one of our 3 Focus Sports; Lacrosse, Netball and Squash

BUCS Ambassador Award (value £500): 10 Awards for individuals who have competed on a UK Sport or Sport England Talent pathway, are a great ambassador for their sport.
