On the 19th of May 2013, quite a few of our players travelled to the city of Salford for the annual outdoor 4-a-side grass tournament. We entered 5 teams (1 men, 2 women and 2 mixed) and attepted to brave the cold for a day filled with bacon butties, hamburgers, hot drinks and some volleyball. One of our teams (no names, ladies) was very graceful, playing the entire outdoor tournament in tracksuits, hoodies and sports jackets as the weather proved to be a bit too cold for our exotic players from certain very warm foreign countries..!
