Manchester Marvels Volleyball are looking for coaches to join our rapidly developing and highly successful junior section. We are seeking Junior Coaches and a Junior Lead to work on developing the junior performance pathway for the club; they will be coaching and running the junior section of our Club. This includes:
- U15s (School years 7 - 10)
- U18s (School years 11 - 13)
The Club is very proud of producing National League players for the future. Our U18 Boys team finished in the top half of the country in the Tier 1 competition. U15 Boys and U16 Boys competed in the Tier 2 competition. Our U15 Girls made it to the Top 8 ranked teams in the Tier 1 competition at the National Volleyball Centre. The Club is full of exciting young players and we want to give them the very best experience of playing volleyball.
We endeavour to give all our age groups two training sessions a week. The Junior Lead and Coaches will be assisted by volunteers from our adult teams, including qualified assistant coaches.
The Junior coaches and Junior Lead need to hold a Volleyball England Level 1 award or equivalent international qualification as a minimum. Anyone working with juniors will need to have a current DBS in place for the full duration of the role; we are happy to help potential candidates acquire this via Volleyball England.
The Junior Coaches and the Junior Lead will be paid a competitive rate and have all equipment provided.
